Love Grows

Hiya!

This is a card I made for my sister's wedding anniversary last week. I've only just got round to posting it on here because we've been busy looking for a new car :-) How exciting! Hopefully we should have it by the end of the week and I'll be able to show you a nice piccie of it!

I was hoping to get on the pc a little earlier than this but Charlie has given me a right song and dance about walking home from school. He wanted me to carry him but I refused point blank so we had tears and screaming - the works! The looks I got from the passers by.... Sooo embarrassing - but I refuse to give in!

Anyway, back to my card.....

This gorgeous image is another one that I bought using the voucher my pal Clare sent me for Christmas - thank you, Clare!!!!

A close up of the image.....

I used:
Image and sentiment - Love Grows, LOTV
Promarkers
Papers - Me to You
Nesties
Sizzix decorative swirl
Butterfly punch
Pearls from stash

Challenges:
Lili's Little Fairies - Anything goes
Moving along with the times - Summer sunshine

Right, I'm off to take the little man swimming - not really sure that he deserves to go but it might calm him down a bit!

Love 'n' hugs,

Hi Mel, such a cute card (got that image and use it a lot!) love the colours and your colouring is just so pretty!

Ummm, my Emily is nearly 5 and still insists on being carried sometimes! The latest one was at a party last weekend, the reason being that she didn't want to dance on her own but wanted to join in - so 'carry me, mummy' was the plea! A bit hard on the old arms carrying a 3st nearly 5yr old child!!! I need to do more exercise!

Awww, this is such a pretty card, bet your sis loved it. Hope you and Charlie are friends again ... I think its hilarious how they can throw such strops and am always annoyed at those folk who give 'the look', as if they've never been there themselves!

Aren't kids fun?! Such hard work when they get in one of 'those' moods! Hope he calmed down enough to enjoy the swimming. Hugs, Lisa x
