Dream Valley Challenge 6 - Flowers

Hiya!

It's time for another challenge at Dream Valley and this time we want to see Flowers! A nice easy one for you....

Most flowery cards are usually bright and colourful but I wanted to do something a little more subtle so I've used mainly black and white (papers are Papermania Capsule Collection) with just a splash of colour:

The image is the first outing of a Whispers stamp I've had for ages and just not got round to using yet. I'm really trying to be good and use all those stamps I've had hidden away for a while :-) I've added a punched butterfly (Xcut) with a little bit of sparkle....

.....and a flower I made using scalloped circle nesties.  I used larger circles in lighter coloured papers for the outer petals, and smaller, darker circles for the inner petals. I damped them slightly and then scrunched them up. I secured the layers together with a brad:

The ribbon and black pearls are from my stash.

Challenge:
Sarah Hurley - Butterflies/Things with wings

That's about it! I hope you have a fab weekend - please pop over to Dream Valley to see what the rest of the DT have made. They really are a talented bunch :-)

If you're following my adventures in my allotment, I'm just about to add the latest installment so you can pop over and have a nosey here - I've got green stuff! :-)

Love 'n' hugs,

Gorgeous homemade flower :) The papers you used make this card so elegant, and love the interesting way you stamped the flowers on the 3 squares. Beautiful card!

Fabulous card and I just love what you've done with your image. Aren't you good trying to use ALL of your stamps. Lost count of the 'new' ones still waiting in my drawer, lol. xx
